Our Board Members |
CHREE's current Board of Directors is comprised of the Founding Members. It is the organization's governing body, elected by the members at an annual meeting. All members are responsible for gaining a basic understanding and initiating action in support of the stated mission, goals and programs of the corporation. This includes assisting in establishing outreach programs locally and abroad to increase its visibility and donor support, and social networking and other mechanisms for resource mobilization. Board members are volunteers as such and any manner of their compensation shall be determined pursuant to the approved by-laws of the Corporation. The day to day activities of the corporation are entrusted with an Executive Director who is appointed by the board. The manner of operation of CHREE is spelled out in the Corporation’s by-laws to guide the Executive Director in formulating and administering its mission. The Board reserves the right to appoint any other officers to the executive team as it deems fit and in accordance with the by-laws. |
